  1. Tonetta. Thank you for sharing your family with us. I see that four out of the five family members listed are women (Marion, 2011). Women obviously played a signficant role in your childhood. I smiled when you referred to your sister as "boss lady". Is Tabitha the oldest sister? You apparently had a very warm, loving and supportive family. Do you mind describing the hierarchy of your family? I believe that African Ameican families primarily have a matriarchic heirarchy, but I do not have any research to support this. What are your thoughts regarding the dominant hierarchy in Black families? You have a lovely family, Tonetta.

  2. Tonetta you have a beautiful family. I am interested in knowing if Tabitha is the oldest too. Sometimes the bossiest child is the youngest when they are used to having their way. I see church plays a big part in your life and that is a good thing. How do I know? Aren't those pews your family are posing on?

  3. Your web echoes Bronfenbrenner's Social Systems theory. I enjoyed meeting your wonderful support system. This is an activity that can be scaled down for children. A family-fun activity!
